Dana White is open to Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Georges St-Pierre

Dana White is open for a super meeting between lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and welterweight king Georges St-Pierre.

Previously, Dana White has not shown much interest in putting together a super match between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Georges St-Pierre. After the Fight Island galas, the UFC's CEO did an interview with ESPN and there it now sounded completely different on the question of whether such a match could materialize. This is about Khabib's last match in his career and there it sounded very good as if a meeting with GSP could be relevant.

"Sure. Yeah, it's the last fight of his career, ”

“The guys have been great. He’s been great to the company, he’s been great for the sport, and, I like Khabib Nurmagomedov a lot. I would do anything Khabib wanted to do. ”

The meeting could take place as early as next year

Nurmagomedov is completely undefeated in his career at 28-0 and plans to retire when he reaches 30-0. If he follows this and a match with GSP becomes the last peak of his career, this could happen as early as next year.

However, Khabib has other things to think about now that he is booked to return to the octagon on October 24 at UFC 255 and meet Justin Gaethje. GSP has also not competed since 2017 when he defeated Michael Bisping at UFC 217 and won the middleweight belt.
